Bean “Cheese” Dip

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2‐15oz Cans Fat-free Refried Beans
  • 1‐16oz Jar Good & Gather (Target brand) Roasted Salsa
  • 1‐8oz Tub (Trader Joe’s brand) Vegan Cream Cheese
  • 2‐Cups (VioLife brand) Vegan Cheddar Shreds
  • 1‐TBSP Chili Powder
  • 1‐tsp Ground Cumin
  • Sliced Jalapeños for garnish
  • Bacon Flavored Bits for garnish
  • Your favorite Tortilla Chips
  • Medium size slow cooker

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Use a blender to liquify the salsa (I don’t like chunks in my dip).
  2. Mix all of the ingredients together in a slow cooker except for the garnishes.
  3. Melt in slow cooker on high until all ingredients are melted, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once melted, change slow cooker settings to low or warm, and stir periodically.
  5. Add garnishes.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes:
Don’t worry if you don’t think you like beans.
This will taste just like any cheese‐only dip you’ve ever eaten.

I normally don’t create recipes that conatain so many pre‐made or brand‐specific ingredients, but it helps make this recipe easy, quick, and delicious.
